Shoe size advice

An optimal fit is defined by width, heel and toe distance from the ground, last base shape, construction and by the particular model.

Optimal fit

Josef Seibel's size spectrum for women ranges from shoe size 36 to 43, with some models produced in plus sizes 44 and 45. In the men's range, the size spectrum extends from shoe size 40 to 48 with oversizes 49 and 50.

In addition, the Josef Seibel range includes different widths, such as wide G or wide K.

Shoes for normal feet
Josef Seibel Komfortweite 6½

Suitable for the slender foot. The wide F is somewhat narrower than the wide G and very suitable for slender feet.

Josef Seibel Komfortweite

Suitable for the normally built foot. For those who find the F widths too narrow and widths H and K too wide, this is the right choice. wide G is the comfort width for all normally built feet.

Shoes for strong feet
Josef Seibel Spezialweite

Suitable for the strong foot. Shoes with wide H offer a lot of space, so wide H is the measure of all things especially for strong and wide feet.

Josef Seibel Spezialweite K

Suitable for the very strong foot. The wide K offers plenty of space in the shoe.

The perfect size for your new shoe.

To ensure that your new shoes fit your feet perfectly, we show you here how you can easily measure the most important measurements for the ideal fit yourself.

1.

Put a sheet of paper on the floor so that one end touches the wall. Stand on the paper with your heel facing the wall.

2.

Mark the spot where your longest toe ends (you may need help here). Measure the distance between the wall and your mark.

3.

Repeat for the other foot and compare the values with the size chart to find the correct size.

The perfect width for your shoe.

To make sure your new shoes don't pinch anywhere, we'll now show you how you can easily measure the most important measurements for the ideal comfort shoe width yourself.

1.

It is about the widest part of your foot:
Determine the circumference with a tape measure at the widest part of your foot. It is best to take off your socks for this purpose.

2.

Right time of day:
Measure the width best in the evening, because then your foot has the largest circumference after everyday stress.

3.

Measuring tape alternative:
If you don't have a tape measure at hand, take a string and put it on a folding rule after measuring.

4.

Weight distribution:
When measuring, try to distribute your weight evenly on both your feet and on the front and back of your foot.

5.

Important - Measure both feet:
Repeat for the other foot, compare the values and take the larger measurement.

6.

Determine your shoe wide:
Compare the values with the size chart to find the right size.
